NUTRITION II (circulatory, respiratory and excretory systems)

WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO KNOW?

THE CIRCULATORY SYSTEM

The circulatory system is made up of the heart (pumps blood) and blood vessels (veins, arteries and capillaries) that carry blood  away from and towards the heart. The circulatory system carries oxygen, nutrients and hormones to the cells, and removes waste products, like carbon dioxide. These roadways travel in one direction only, to keep things going where they should.
